Water repellent, GOTS certified organic cotton reusable bowl covers.

Set of three reusable bowl covers with elasticated hems that keep your food fresh and helps to lead a zero-waste lifestyle. The GOTS certified water repellent fabric can be wiped clean and are designed to be used again and again. A sustainable alternative to disposable plastics!

This GOTS certified fabric has been sustainably manufactured, reducing the amount of waste and toxins going into the environment. This fabric is free from harmful chemicals and toxins.

Size: S: 8-11cm, M: 13-20cm, L: 16-28cm, XL: 21-36cm

Spinning

The journey starts with Sathya who has been working here over 2 years. She ensures that the loom operates correctly so the cotton yarn rolls onto the cones without any breakage.

Weaving

Next step is the weaving process where Rajesh will ensure that the fabric is woven correctly with no faults.

Printing

Once the fabric has been woven, it is then printed using GOTS certified non-hazardous inks. The printing mill reuses 99% of all waste water so there is almost zero discharge. Boo, who has 3 and a half years’ experience in the printing department ensures that the colours and artwork meet the standards and customer requirements. After printing, this fabric is then coated with a GOTS approved coating to ensure its water repellent.

Pop these food covers in the fridge or great for food that can be left on the worktop. Wipe clean and keep fresh to extend life.
When covering tin cans, only use for a few hours and always decant into another bowl or container to refridgerate. Together we can build a sustainable future.
