Planting trees is now the best way to tackle rising temperatures and climate change, according to a study from a group of scientists July 2019.

Trees absorb carbon dioxide which means they can help to stop rising temperatures around the world. They also keep soil moist and reduce the risk of flooding in the area.

Which is why at Organic Stories by Sightmode LTD we decided to take action.

In 2018, we organised and funded planting trees in Tiripur, India. More than 1200 neem trees, jamun trees, pongamia pinnata and mahua longifolia trees were planted which created jobs in the local community. The long term effects of this social project are even more important as the trees help reduce CO2 emissions and increase water resources.
